Well as sad as it sounds I did NOT watch the Oscar's this year. Usually I like to tune in for a little and check out some of the best and worst dressed! But this year I missed it all. I just logged on to find out who won "Best Picture" and all that. Oddly enough John and I had just rented "the Departed" this weekend and it was a really good movie!! So I am happy it won bets picture. I am also glad that "Little Miss Sundshine" won an award too since I really liked it. Very original when u think that most of the movie was filmed in an old van on the freeway...pretty neat.
Instead of the Oscar's we went to dinner at the Fireside with my dad and Ivy last night. They just got back from Cuba on the weekend and were taking off on the road again for work stuff again after dinner last night. It was nice. We ate a lot and had some drinks and chatted and caught up since they were missing a lot of details about whats been new and exciting around here. Today I have been pretty busy with some things I had to do before the big start day tomorrow...EEEK! Not too much new really and I have to go pick John up from work so I'll sign off for now and write more tomorrow after the first day. love u all...infinite x's and o's

cameron diaz had a really nice white dress.. also i liked nicole kidmans dress..she really stood out..it was bright red. Gwen paltrow had on an apricot dress that was cool. I don;t think there were many bad dressers this year actually.Its definately tied for best dressed.
