WOW! has it really been THAT long? I guess it has! I have been so neglectful/forgetful/busy! Well...let me see what is new...NOTHING! LOL. I am sitting home now while my boyfriend is on a course and it is a beautiful day and I totally should be outside in this gorgeous day on my limited day off but instead I am in here...blogging...see I am not totally nelectful!

anyways...last weekend was one of my best weekends EVER! My 2 favorite girls EVER came to visit me very spur of the moment and it was sooooo great to hang out with them! We had some very late nights and some very brutal mornings but most of all we had a FABULOUS time!! They arrived in Halifax friday afternoon and stayed until Monday afternoon. We went out both Friday and Saturday nights (Peddlers, Dome, Ale House, Palace) and even did a drunken 5:30 am swim (thanks to the security gaurd and the old lady who allowed us to swim while heavily intoxicated). We made a very special guest appearence to the ever popular DUTCHIES in Fairview...lol and "followed the light" to heaven! LOL We shopped til we dropped, ate lots of crap and even did a very serious "let's get it on" match at the Freak Lunchbox!

We really WHOOPED it up all weekend! I really miss having them here. Both of them being far away (especially way out in hicktown alberta...lol) sucks soooo bad! I really miss them. They are both such a "hoot" and we always have a blast when we are together! I never laugh so much as I do when I am with them. True DAT! Sunday night was pretty relaxed. We hung out and watched Desperate Housewives, the amazing race and other crap TV.

My week at work seemed to FLY by. It was great! I am really getting out and doing a lot of marketing so I am learning a lot! I love it! Marketting at first was a little difficult for me (knowing what to say and how to talk business at first was weird) but now it is going great. I have already arranged 2 lunches and did a tonne of other sales calls. I love it! Plus I am getting some cool contacts. I have already been handed a business card and told "if you ever want to switch careers..." which is coola nd something that neevr happened to me before...see when it rains it pours. but I have no intention of leaving there anytime soon. I am learning a lot and enjoying what I do! The people I work with are all really great too so that makes it even better!

This weekend is pretty relaxed. Last night we went out for Thai food with the walkers for Andrew's birthday! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!). We had some drinks at Miss Bartlett's place and then went for some delish food at Talay thai (as close to authentic as you will get in North America). We went back to Stef & Andrew's for some ice cream cake and more drinks and then headed home to bed.

Tomorrow is Mel's baby shower so that will be fun! And now I am going to take off and go for a walk on this GORGEOUS day!!! OH and I know this is totally last minute BUT if anyone knows of any place that may sell cookie cutters in the shapes of diapers or other baby related shapes PLEASE let me know ASAP!!! Thanks
