Another weekend passes quickly...without an end in sight! That's right, you read it correctly! Go ahead and curse me out for it too...I totally AM wishing the weekend away! Why?! Because I am working from 6:30am until 3:30pm all weekend. So that means I have to wake up at 5am and then drive 1/2 hour out to the airport to be there for 6:30am to deal with whacky, cranky and yes sometimes nice people! And to make matters worse, I work all week (9 days in a row- a total of 74.5 hours to be exact). 3 days in between won't be that bad though because I'll be on course at our head office and get up to date training and what not, they also take us out to lunch and supper everyday while we are on course so I guess that won't be too difficult! Just would be nice to relax and have a day sans ERAC! Okay...sorry for my griping and complaining...just had a few whacky customers today...don't get me wrong, all customers are valued, it's just some put more of a strain on you than others. For example: had this dude today that when I asked how he was replied..."oh just awful, God forsaken dreadful." So I say, "oh, sorry to hear that sir. I'm going to get you in this car just as quickly as possible so you can start to have a better day" and then he proceeds to tell me, "the damn airline cancelled my flight yesterday, then it got delayed again, then they lost my damn luggage and to make matters worse I've been spending all f*$king day dealing with that stupid f*&king Hertz Rental company because they are trying to rip me off for a cracked windshield. I live a life of pure hell in my area of work and this is my first vacation in a very long time and now I've already wasted the better part of a day when I could have spent it sight seeing. To put it plainly: my entire life is a complete rage inducing horror!!!" So, tell me folks...how the hell do you respond to a customer after he says that in the thickest southern drawl I've yet heard...HOW??? UGGGhhh...then at 3:15 a guy calls us because he lost the keys to his rental and basically needs us to move mountains to make his life simpler now. So yeah, you've all guessed it: BAD DAY @ WORK! LOL
Anyways, on a good note....John and I went to see the Neptune production of Beauty & The Beast last night! OMG it was soooo amazing! I've seen some Broadway in places bigger than Halifax before and I can honestly say that last night's performance was by far one of the best I have ever seen! It was just THAT good! The guy who played GASTON looked as if they had plucked him out of the cartoon....it was right on the money with him! The whole thing was just beautiful! If you haven't yet seen it I HIGHLY reccommend it!! I'd give it 8 thumbs up! LOL And it's been extended until July 1st so there is still time!
Before the production last night John and I went to the Shoe Shop for dinner! On the way in we passed this guy who was grossly stumbling around and making a fool of himself (it was 5:30 pm) and John says to me "oh that guy is in bad shape. He's pretty drunk already". After the theater we head back to our car and see the same guy again outside the shoe shop with a female officer tackling him to the ground and a male officer saying "okay Gordan, I am going to read you your rights"...so guys it looks like John was totally right...Gordan was definitely in bad shape...LOL! It was kinda funny but also kinda sad!!
So now I am home from a hard day's work...hehe! Just chillin like a villan about to have some beer and BBQ! It is a beautiful day and I can't think of a better way to spend my evening than on the deck with my favorite man! [that is until the damn hockey game comes on...lol...then it'll be an excuse to go to bed early and finally get a good night's rest before tomorrow's early morning fast approaches]. love u all and to the ladies who read this and will be partaking in next weekend's festivities...I am looking forward to this day more than you know! Can't wait! Love u all! xoxoxo
