Fantastic weekend!

This weekend was GREAT! After my last day at Enterprise on Friday, I headed up to Cape Breton. I made it there in good time and picked Kassandra up at her place then headed over to my place to sit around the fire pit my mom and Donald just put in. We had some drinks (okay...alot of drinks) and just caught up on all the lost time. We ended up staying up chatting, laughing and drinking til 5am so the next day was almost a write off...well it was for Kassandra anyways...hahaha! After we had breakfast we headed in to Kassandra's place and met Lauren there. After a brief (VERY brief due to Kassandra's "illness") stint at the old Mayflower Mall we went back to Kassandra's house and got ready for the beach. We spent the afternoon at the Mira Gut where we had a HILARIOUS time making fun of old Kareokee Phil (for those of you who don't know Kareokee Phil is a Sydney legend...one of our local whacko creeps). Saturday night I had dinner at Kassandra's and played with Aidan a lot...what a cutie! He is getting so big so fast!! Later that evening Kassandra and I headed down to the Sydney Waterfront for a walk where we both almost died due to our high heels constantly getting stuck between the crack in the boardwalk...lol....we tried to find a patio to grab a beer on and finally settled on Daniel's where it must have been "old people night" cuz that's about all there was...a bunch of oldies doin the 2-step..lol! So we accepted defeat, ATTEMPTED to get Fuzzy's fries (which to our dismay was closed), rented a movie and headed to Boston Pizza for a quick nacho run! lol! I woke up super early this morning to visit my grandmother and get on the road at a decent hour. I made it home in record timing (shhhh...don't tell my folks..lol) and John and I ran some errands and then went down the waterfront for the Tall Ships Festival. It was super busy down there this afternoon and really nice. There was something for everyone!! John and I went for beer and nachos at the Shoe Shop for supper and then had "Sugah!" for desert...one word on that: DeLiSh!!!
So now we are home again and I am about to go some things ready for my new job at the Credit Union tomorrow!! Eeeeeekkkk...a little nervous! I don't know much about banking so I am just nervous as to what to expect...but we shall see! I'll post tomorrow to let y'all know how it goes!
Oh...I wish I had pictures of the weekend but stupid me forgot my camera both when I was home and for Tall Ships...DUH...soooo incredibly unlike me to not take pictures!! Oh well...Kassandra has a couple!
