The first weekend in December is here...now I am officially gaining some hard core Christmas spirit! We started decorating our office today and we'll be having a decorating party at work on Monday evening complete with ornaments, lights, tinsel, pizza, and holiday tunes! Gotta love it!!! But the main event is tomorrow night's staff Christmas party. Our Credit Union and the board of directors will be dining, drinking and dancing the night away. I must say...they really go all out! It's being held at the Radisson downtown. The night begins with a cocktail hour where we'll all mingle, have some cocktails and h'or durves. The we move along to the 5 corse dinner. After dinner is dancing and again more drinks (seeing a trend in our office yet) and then the G.M of the Credit Union booked each and every couple a suite at the Radisson which will be very nice. I am really looking forward to it. Getting all dressed up and dancing...my kind of thing! I am going to go get my hair cut tomorrow before hand and hopefully get a little shopping in since it is no tax at Halifax Shopping Centre all day! Unfortunately John is working all weekend so he's missing out on salon time and shopping expenditures (although something tells me he is not terribly disappointed by that). He is still coming to the party but will likely be in rough shape the next day! Poor guy!
Anyways...I am getting excited! I am completely stumped with a few gift ideas for a few people on our list but other than that my shopping list is coming along nicely! We took Monday the 10th off to go to New Ross and chop down our tree and spend the day together decorating so that will be nice! Other than that I am just going to sit back and relax the time leading up to Christmas because the week OF Christmas will be completely jam packed with family visits!!!
