This weekend John and I headed home for a quick trip to CB. It was great to be home for a bit...every few months I get a little home sick and then I get the itch to make a trip home to visit the fam. Its always so nice to be home! We had a great visit although it was short. Friday night we were pretty zonked so we were fast asleep pretty quick. But we made good use of saturday and woke up pretty early (even my sleepy head sister was up early). We made breakfast and then us gals hit up Charlotte Street for dress shopping excursion #3...hehe! Lauren found the most gorgeous MOH dress...she looked very pretty. So we are both pretty thrilled about that...We also did some shopping at the mall while John hit up Sweeny's gym and the Casino. We came home Saturday afternoon and had dinner and drinks. Saturday evening John and I also headed over to Sydney River to visit my friend Tash from high school (Tash and I also lived together for first and second year at University). Tash and her man moved out to BC last summer and they had a baby in December so she was home for a week and I was really glad I got to visit with her and meet her beautiful baby Noah! He is just too sweet for words. Of course, in a mad rush leaving Hali on Friday I totally forgot my camera so I do not have any pictures...BOOOO! But Tash did take a couple so when she sends them to me I'll be sure to post them. When we got to Tash's mom's house a couple other gals whom I went to high school with were there. It was like an RHS reunion. It was great to catch up!So today we woke up, had breakfast, hung out and Donald's grand children came over. Then we packed er all up, headed out to see my Nannie and then headed on home to Halifax. It was such a great weekend!
John and I have tomorrow off together but we have some appointments and meetings to go to so we'll be busy.
