A Quick Update

Okay-so in baby news...We did something very fun and exciting for Baby Walker this weekend! Can you guess what it is???
We painted the nursery!!! We love love love the color! I am at work right now but I will update this post with pictures when I get home tonight. The pictures do not do it justice though. It's sooo bright and cheery! We love love love it! Its my favorite color room in the house! John did most all of the work but I did put a few strokes in so I could have a small hand in painting our baby's room!
We are going to get the nursery furniture very soon. We have it all picked out, it's just a matter of getting it now!! We are sooooo excited! I can't believe how fast time is flying!
This week I feel okay-not as great as I usually feel though. I'm really tired no matter how much I sleep and I am getting sciatica and lower back pain! Its nothing I can't handle but this is a rough start to my week. I look forward to the weekend already for some rest and relaxation. It's only Tuesday however so hopefully the week will fly by!
I also need to get this sweet tooth under control. I get asked all the time if I am getting any cravings. I always so "no nothing really. Nothing weird anyway". Then not long ago it hit me-I crave sweet stuff all the time. Even if I am full, if someone were to offer me a chocolate bar I would have to think twice. I am losing self controlw hen it comes to sweets like chocolate, candy, cookies and cake! I need to get a grip here! My weight gain has been on track thus far and I'd like to keep it that way. Who wants to gain a tonne of unneccessary weight only to have to struggle to take it all off after the baby is born?!?! Not me-so this is what I remind myself of whenever the temptation for sugar kicks in!! I will also say that it is particularly tough when everyone is always trying to give the pregnant lady an extra big slice of the office birthday cake since afterall, she's eating for two! I keep trying to remind these people that the phrase 'eating for two' is not to be taken literally! lol
Until next time...
