Saturday morning Jaime arrived very early so we ate a delicious breakfast and then headed out in search of the perfect bridesmaid dress for her. We went to Winchesters and she found a very nice one that looked great on her! Saturday afternoon I participated in the Bowlathon for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. I am so proud of T.P.C.U. We have a small office of only 13 workers yet we raised more than most of the other teams...even some of the larger ones! The Bowlathon went very well yet I became painfully aware of what a terrible bowler I am. The worst part was, I was playing with people that brought their own shoes (that mean you knwo they mean buisness). So while they were getting their strikes and spares I bowled my measley 42 (yes...I said 42...STOP LAUGHING)!!!
When I got home Saturday after bowling; Lisa, Avan and the kids were here for a swim. Emma had a BBALL tourney in the city so they were in HRM for the weekend! We went out for Chinese with them and then John and I came home to have some wine and watch movies! This morning we had actually slept in until 10am (which is pretty late for us). Andrew called and woke us up and we were both floored we had slept in that late. Lately when we "sleep in" its usually until 9ish. Anyways, we headed out to the property with Andrew and Stef to see the development [my dad had called Saturday to tell us he, Ivy, Aunt Daphne and Rick were all out to check it out and that the foundation footings were in place]. So we tromped around in the icky mud for a while and took some pics. Our neighbour came over to introduce himself and we had a great chat with him...seems like a nice man. He and his wife have lived there for 24 years and are about to retire but have never had a neighbour on either side since moving there. Well buddy...Here we are...your new neighbours! haha!
Anyways, John and I did some shopping this afternoon, we went for a walk and now we are BBQ'ing supper and going to chillax before going back to work tomorrow!
I knwo I have been updating a lot on the house development lately but it is just flying along nicely. Everyday there is an update and everyday we are one step closer to moving into the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Walker! Well until September 27th it will be the Shaw Walker Residence! hahaa!
Hope you all enjoyed the weekend!

I am so embarrassed, we had visitors and we couldn't even offer them tea or coffee! hehehe
When I first saw this red plastic bag hanging from the tree Stef says "Whats that?" so I reply..."MAIL...we got MAIL" lol...I really thought it might be the weekly flyers..haha! Oops...just some building permits and county info.
The boys scopin the scene. (Plans for a games room well underway).
