Girl's Weekend=FUN!

This past weekend was another great one! We have been so lucky to have so many visitors since we've moved in! So many awesome family and friends that travel up this way to visit! We appreciate it so much!
Amanda and Erin were up this last weekend. We had such a fun girls weekend! Much needed for sure! They arrived on Friday night and we had some snacks and talked until late that night/early morning. We woke up Saturday morning, had breakfast and did some more talking and catching up and then we headed in to the grand old city of Saint John. I showed Amanda our old apartment and where I work (Erin got his part of the tour the last time she was up), then we did some window shopping and grabbed a bite before heading on to....WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING! YAYYYY... both Amanda and Erin are engaged so we stopped at Heavenly gowns and I managed to convince them to try a few on. We had sooo much fun! They both tried on a few gowns and Erin may have even found 'the one'. Like me, it was the very first dress she tried on! It was absolutely stunning on her!!! We had a tonne of laughs there and stayed until the store closed. We even met another girl who was up from Halifax and trying on dresses-her name was Erin too and she found her dream dress there as well-see people Shit John isn't so shitty, lol!
After dress shopping we stopped at the mall and then home to have a yummy BBQ. Saturday night we did facials, lol! We were pretty tired so we didn't stay up as late that night. Sunday morning the girls got up and had breakfast then headed for home. It was so much fun having them here for the weekend. I think I got a great ab workout with all the laughs we had.

John and I went to the home show on Sunday. He had won free tickets and was entered into a draw for a $25,000 new kitchen package and a $15,000 window and siding package-unfortunately he did not win either =( After the home show we came home and BBQ'ed and hung out! Monday, John had the day off and I had taken that day off as well. We had some errands to run and then went for a walk around our subdivision in the beautiful sunny weather.
Now I am back at work and looking forward to more visitors this weekend. Dad, Ivy and the kiddos! Should be more fun times ahead!
