I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing...

Last night I had an overhwelming emotional feeling/thought/realization that my baby is not so much baby anymore as he is starting to look and act more like a little boy! Sure he gets cuter by the day (which you would think is impossible since he is already at 110% cuteness but he just keeps maxin out the cuteness level on a daily basis) and he is learning so many new things which is beyond fun to watch him grow and develop; but it's just so sad to think my baby is growing so quickly. I wish I could just pause time for a little bit. He is so much fun and John and I find ourselves laughing all the time! I never thought a person could actually be this happy!!
There are so many things about now, this time in Forrest's life that I never want to forget so what should I do?! Why blog about it of course!!

• the way you love to snuggle right into mommy or daddy after you wake up. You don't like to play on your own after sleeping, you'd rather be held for a while first
• the way you sleep, now on your belly after all those months of us forcing you to sleep on your back. You sleep with you bum up in the air...which brings me to my next point...
• your cute little bum
• the way you look up at us with those big blues
• nursing you and the way you like to hold on to me almost like you are hugging me with one arm
• how excited you get when you see your sookie (pacifier)
• your laugh
• the way you crawl - you can crawl the typical way but it's much faster and easier if you use your right leg to kick off and pull yourself with your arms so you are dragging yourself across the floor - you really burn around our house that way and it's just so funny
• your kisses, you open your mouth really wide pull my face toward you and slobber all over me - and I love every one of them, can't possibly get enough Forrest kisses
• the faces you make the first time you have a bite of real food
• going into your room after you wake up and see you soooo excited looking up at me
• The way you look at me and Daddy (your whole face just lights up and it melts my heart)
• the nights we bring you into our bed and I look over and see you snuggled right into your daddy...it gives me butterflies every.single.time.
• your chatter
• the way you open your mouth so big and wide when you smile
• your dimples
• the way your feet never stop moving (Mommy and Daddy call you "Happy Feet")
• your love of books (you love love love books - it's so cute! and when I read to you,  you love to help turn the pages)
• how busy you are (but let's be honest I could never ever forget that - you keep me on my toes little man and in the last week I've dropped another few pounds and I'd like to thank you for that because since you started to crawl I have not stopped whenever you are on the floor...not for one second)

I'm sure I will add to this list as time goes on but at least this is a good start!!! I don't want to miss anything - and I wish I could do my own reality show (only to be viewed by myself and John - haha) so that I could have every single moment on video to watch later on in years. We do record a lot of things to video which I LOVE!!! My in laws were genius when they bought us our HD Video Cam before Forrest was born! We even taped the labour (not the delivery but the labour) and I LOVE looking back on those videos and I still cry every time I watch them!!! I'll be adding to this list as we go along! I love my little man more than anything in the whole wide world!!!
