It's About to Get REAL Busy in the Walker Household!

After this weekend, our family is going to be very busy every single weekend until October 15th - yes you read that right!! Crazy eh?! Guess it's good to be busy especially when the weekends will be filled with fun stuff (with the exception of John's eye surgery but even that has it's benefits - never to wear contacts or glasses again -YAY). This weekend we are going to relax just us and then this is what it looks like for us:

August 26th-28th: the big Knickle/MacDermid wedding extravaganza -WHOOT! Between rehersal, setting up, and all things wedding it is sure to be a blast. We'll be staying at the Inverary Resort Friday and Saturday night. A lot of our old high school friends will be at this wedding, a lot of whom I haven't seen in about 10 years - CRAZINESS!
September 2nd - 4th: My sister is flying home to see her favorite little man so my mom and my sister will be at our place for the long weekend! I'm looking forward to having some time with them both and am thrilled Lauren is coming home and so is Forrest ;)
September 9th - 11th: John is booked for laser eye surgery that Friday so I'll be playing nurse for at least part of the weekend
September 16th - 18th: Another exciting event is the much anticipated Murphy/Schnare wedding!!! I have been looking forward to this wedding for oh about 2 years now - haha!! We will be going home sometime through the week to give Erin a hand with all things wedding (we call this wedding palooza) and then we'll be setting up, rehersal and of course I'll be spending the night before with the bride and then hair and make up will be coming to her house to get us all made up and looking perdy ;) Funny thing is...Erin and I met when we worked together but she actually went to school with John and her cousin Robbie and John were good friends so John will know a lot of people at this wedding too!!! Actually - John was interviewed for the job he holds now by another cousin of Erin's which we didn't know at the time until we were getting ready to move to NB. Our whole friendship is really six degress of Kevin Bacon actually haha!!
September 23rd-25th: Janet and Rick are planning a visit!! We're really excited for this as it's been a while since their last visit!!! We'll be celebrating our mutual wedding anniversaries and getting in some quality time which is going to be really really nice! We're hoping the weather is still nice and we can take them to the Market and maybe spruce up the ol Washer Toss skills ;) Forrest is already very excited and keeps asking when he will see Nanny and Granddad!!! hehe
October 1st - 3rd: Jaime and Kyle are coming to visit!! YAY for more family visitors! We are also really looking forward to their visit and Forrest can't wait to show them his toys and play with his Aunt and Uncle ;) Hopefully the weather will still be nice and we can head over to the Kingston Pennisula and check out some sights.
October 7th-10th: THANKSGIVING!! We always go home and spend this holiday with the Walker's as it's our annual crib and washer toss tournament at Camp. Last year we made it a memorial tournament in honor of Nanny Elaine Meisner and it's a really nice tradition to spend this time together at one of her favorite places - CAMP! We are so excited to take Forrest to his first ever Thanksgiving at camp this year!!!

So as you can see our lives are quite busy!! It's been a super fun year of maternity leave and has been really quite action packed!!! I wouldn't have it any other way!!! Next summer we already have 3 weddings to attend in a one month time frame so it would be nice to be on Mat leave then too ;) hahaha JK (kinda). John and I are also tossing around ideas for our first big family vacation which we plan to take next year!
