cRaSh, BaNg, cLaNg

That's the sound our Christmas tree makes as it crashes to the ground mere hours after it was decorated! Hubbs and I lay in bed about to drift off into a sound few hours night's sleep (at least until Forrest woke up) when we heard that awful sound. We tore off out to the living room and there was our beautiful Christmas tree on it's side on the floor with water everywhere and ornaments astray (some were even broken *sniff sniff*). Thankfully the noise didn't wake Forrest!! It took us about an hour and a half to clean up the disaster that was our tree and we couldn't for the life of us get it back in the stand without it tipping over again!! Try as we may, it would not stand straight! Finally we tore off all the remaining ornaments and tossed it outside! We summarized that it was part small tree trunk and part poor tree stand! So today John went to Candian Tire and bought the infmaous "Omega" tree stand! So tonight we decorated our tree for the second time and knock on wood...so far so good! Although we tied it for good measure!!!
