A sushi night gone wrong?!?!?!

So last night after work John decided to take me for sushi! Now this made me very excited as although John likes sushi, he is not inclined to go out for it that often. Now most would think he is a meat and potatoes only type of guy and that is so NOT the case! He loves ethnic food and trying new things (especially after our Korean experience). He really enjoys Thai food, he'll go for Korean anytime and also loves Greek, Lebanese and Vietnemese food! He loves food of any kind really..haha! but for some reason he is just not a big fan of going out for sushi! So last night was something I enjoyed more than him (although he did really like it). So we arrive at my favorite place ("I Love Sushi") and I order all the usual stuff (minus some of the scary stuff for fear john will run screaming...hehe) and I am super enjoying my meal when all of a sudden my lips start to swell up. I am thrown off gaurd a bit and wonder what the hell is going on with my face.
John: "yeah it looks pretty funny, does it hurt?"
Me: "no it doesn't hurt, just feels weird and this never happens so I can't be allergic can I?!"
So not knowing what the hell is up but I am not ready to toss the food to the side I continue to eat and of course my lips continue to swell. After supper we went for a walk on the Halifax waterfront and had an ice cream from "Sugah" for desert (Sugah is the best ice cream place EVER- what it is: you order a plain ice cream and then choose any kind of stuff to mix in, they have it all and they hand paddle it into the ice cream and put it in a waffle cone and it is sooooooo delish). I had chocolate ice cream with a peanut butter fudge mix in....OMG....soooooo good!! Anyways, the cool ice cream felt nice on my giant lips! LOL

John ate a little too much wasabi on that one...bahahaha! later he says to me "How much do u think someone would bet me if I ate the entire wad of that?" LOL...I nearly dided laughing and tried to bet him but he wouldn't take the plunge on it!! haha!

As for my lips...well they are looking back to normal now...just feel a little wierd (like thye are brutally chapped...only they aren't chapped due to sun or wind...but this weird allergic reaction has made them rough or something...anyways...nothin will stop me from eating sushi...
