What A Weekend...

We had such a great long weekend this weekend past. We got up early Friday morning, John made me a delicious breakfast and we hung out at home together until 11am when we left to go to Moncton. We got to Moncton, checked out a couple maternity stores and then headed to the new Casino hotel after grabbing a bite to eat. We checked in, relaxed and then went to the Casino for a little bit. We went back and swam in the hotel pool for a while which was so nice! It was great to get in some exercise and feel weightless! After our swim John had booked me a Mommy-Ease massage so I got ready and went to that! It was heavenly!!! After my massage I went back to the room and we got ready and went to The Keg for a late 9 o'clock supper. John had made reservations so we got a really nice quiet table dispite how busy they were. We even got free desert since we were there celebrating our anniversary - and there is no better way to make a pregnant woman happy than to give her free desert! ;) It was a perfect day and night and I loved every relaxing minute of our anniversary celebrations. Thank you to my amazing hubby for planning such a special day/night! It was so sweet and thoughtful of you!

We woke up early Saturday and had breakfast at the hotel then got on the road at 8am to head to Baddeck for Darcy & Sarah's wedding. It poured the entire way down-I mean it! The roads were awful and at times it rained so hard we coudln't see. We got to Baddeck and my Dad & Ivy's cabin and 2 of my Aunt's were there, my uncle and my cousin and her boyfriend. It was awesome to see them and we got to spend a little time chatting before having to get ready for the wedding. The wedding started at 3pm and thankfully the rain stopped right in the middle of the ceremony. It was clear the rest of the day and night which was perfect for pictures and the rest of the wedding! It was awesome! The wedding was beautiful! We had a great time and John enjoyed having his designated driver-haha! We decided not to stay at the Inverary Resort that night and drove the 45 minutes to my Mom's house. We were exhausted when we got there at 12:30-1:00'ish and went right to bed! The next morning we woke up and had breakfast with my mom & Donald and then Mom, John and I went to visit my Nannie. We had a great visit with them and got some pictures since I won't be back to CB to see my Nannie until after the baby is born! I hate living so far away and not getting to see her as often as I would like.

We got back to Quispam Sunday night around 9pm. It was a long drive and I was a little tired Monday morning but I survived! It was a fantastic weekend and this weekend coming up is going to be another great one-Thanksgiving! YAY!!! I have some pictures posted below..

Ainslie it was a special treat for me to see you at the wedding, seems so long since last time. I know people say pregnant women glow, but you absolutely DO!! Continue to takle good caree of yourself (and my grandchild) and I know John will always spoil you. So glad I handed the presidency over for the "Ainslie is a princess" club over to him, he's doing a great job. Dad
