WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!

Just a quick post to fill y'all in!!! Yesterday on September 29th, John asked me to marry him!!! I of course said yes since it would be a dream come true to spend the rest of my life a man as amazing as John who also happens to be a great best friend and partner! I am sooooo ecstatic right now I can hardly stand it! I cannot get rid of this silly smile that is permanently plastered on my face! Cloud nine...forget it....I am on cloud 29!! He was sooo sweet! Since so manby of you are asking about the details on how it happened, here goes: He wanted to go out for "lunch" so he started driving downtown and said that we should go for a walk first...since it was such a beautiful fall day I happily agreed. So we were walking around downtown and then he said "let's walk up Citadel Hill". I was dead set against it (since that hill is HUGE and I was not in the most energetic mood). But as stubborn as he is he kept persisting...which if you know John is not unusual so I did not suspect a thing. So off we go trapsing up Citadel Hill (Me, grumbling a bit on the way). Once we get to the top we check out the view and it is gorgeous of course so at that point (after I had made it to the top) I was happy we did!! Then we start walking down the hill again...when he stops at the exact spot John and I shared our first kiss and where we really began our relationship. He says "This is where we had our first kiss. This is where we began...maybe we should have another kiss before we go". So we kissed and then he gets down on one knee and at this point I am thinking "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD...what is he doing...OH MY GOD!!!" He is getting really emotional and he is saying the most beautiful things ever and of course his words are making me cry and then he pulls out the ring and to finish off his speech he says "will you marry me?" and I of course said "YES!!!!". After our time there he took me to a Korean restuarant where we reminissed about the amazing time we had travelling and how we make such a great team!! I am so excited...I can barely stand it!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!! I get to grow old with a man as great as John!! (P.S. He even asked my dad for permission...how cute eh?!)
Enjoy the pics!!! I am off to enjoy the morning with my FINACEE!! hahaha....

Just one of those weeks...

TGIF....that is how I felt on Friday at around 4:30pm. I was just finishing up at work and had been dealing with an error that was going on all day and was beginning to wreck havoc on my cold/flu fogged brain. Finally it was time to go home and enjoy the weekend! This week was a rough one...just plain ol crappy all around.
Anyways...on to some happy stuff..lol! Last night with work people we went to Il Mercato in Bedford for dinner and drinks. It was really nice. The women I work with are amazing! They are all so sweet, helpful and fun! We share a lot of laughs in the run of a day! I got home around 8 pm and I was already pretty sleepy...heres the thing (well my theory): so this week at work they went around asking who wanted a flu shot because the credit union has someone come in to administer the shot should we want one. Well I have always felt this shot was un-necessary for me since I rarely get sick and I just think that it is not always good to take drugs or get shots if you don't absolutely need them...I like au natural...lol! So I turned down the shot and of course added in a "I never get sick". WELL, about 2 days later I wake up feeling like ass....seriously....head is heavy, glands swollen, throat scratchy, nose cannot stop running and if I sneeze one more time my brain may come out my nose...(I know, spare the graphic details). So my theory is this: I OPENED MY BIG FAT MOUTH AND KARMA SAID "TAKE THIS"...lol
Anyways...its not that bad...right now I am loving my lazy morning. Not much planned this weekend which is great since I am in no mood to do a lot. I love lazing all day and then tonight we are going to my dad and Ivy's for Ivy's birthday dinner (lobster & mussels I may add).
OH...Gosh!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY IVY!!!!! Geez..how terrible of me...
Anyways...I should take off now because John made me breakfast and it is now ready! lots of love!!! xoxo

Summer Lovin....2007

I thought the best way to look back at all the great times we had this summer would be to create a movie montage of the memories we shared! It's kinda long so hopefully it doesn't bore anyone...but if you have the time, its really nice to watch! I put pictures up of everyone we spent time with this summer so you should be able to find your pic in the lot! Enjoy!!! I'd also appreciate feedback as to what you thought! Enjoy!!
For everyone I spent time with this summer...thank you so much for the great memories! It was a busy summer but John and I have thoroughly enjoyed it all!!! What an amazing few months we've had!!!

Happy Anniversary John (my Moosie)

Well, John and I are going into our 4th year together. It has been an amazing past 3 years and I am so thankful he is in my life. It is great to be spending my life with such an amazing man and friend. Anyways...I know most of you are gagging now so I'll stop...lol!
We had a great day celebrating our special day. Although today is our actual anniversary we decided to spend the day and night Saturday celebrating. So we woke up, John made BLT's for breakfast and we just kinda lazed around. John surprised me with 2 dozen deep pink roses and a picnic lunch. John also made me the cutest card ever...its in the shape of a 3 and just so sweet! We went for a long drive and then stopped in Windsor on the water for our picnic. It was sooo nice. He had made delicious turkey sandwiches, fruit, a yougurt marshmellow fruit thing which was delish, a bag of cookies and some white wine. It was such a great day for a picnic and it was so sweet and thoughtful (I love going on picnics). Then we continued on our drive. When we got home we relaxed for a bit and then went to Mexico Lindo's for supper...let me tell you...that is as authentic as your going to get here. Its such a small place but soo sooo good and it has won (and continues to win) awards for best authentic food. After dinner we got a movie (Vacancy...which is totally scary), pulled out the couch, and curled up to watch. It was a great day! Thanks John for conitinuing to make my life special! You make me so happy!! I love you!!! Anyways...enough sappiness....I'm out but I'll write more later tonight! xoxo

Hmmm...

This is so totally my secret...LOL!!! I always sing on the top of my lungs while driving to and from work by myself (I do it when John is in the car too but not so embarrassing since John is John and he loves me no matter how many goofy things I do and the people driving by just think I am talking to John...or yelling, depending on the song I am singing...hahaha). I get sooooo embarrassed when someone drives by and I just happen to be so wrapped up in the song I don't notice until they are either staring or laughing at me...then I sometimes will even go so far as to press my hand up to my ear to give the appearance of being on my bluetooth so they don't realize that I am really just a dork who loves to sing....hahahah. So when I saw this secret on www.postsecret.com I could totally relate and thought it was pretty funny!!
how about you?! Do any of you like to sing along while driving?????
